Select Rating It seems to me the selling point of "no cable to run" is a little misleading.we all know you have to power the cameras and it's not like there is an outlet that happens to be right next to where the camera is going to mount.if you are going to run the power supply,you might as well run the video cable too and save a little money. Select Rating I researched many systems based upon, options, ease to install and set up, use and access remotely and price. This nvr system meet those needs (can be viewed from cell phone and remotely, not overly expensive and good picture and recording options.) I have an iMac and thus was at first skeptical on the purchase as it needs to be initially set up with a PC. However, after initial set up all options and viewing can be done through an iMac. So i set up my old PC, set up the system and use with iMac, iPad and iPhone without problems. (Posted on 9/25/12)
