Select Rating I do have some experience in installing PC's and larger computer systems so this was not to difficult. However, I did have to obtain a setting form the "Live Chat" and it was handled on the first call and solved the problem. After that the only other call was to my ISP for a port question. If installing this system with no previous experience in setting up PC's and networks there is some very good information on their support page. This is an excellent system for this price. Select Rating First the DVR is surprisingly small. Slightly bigger than a net-book. The DVRs software is highly configurable. However I suggest you read through the manual for setting up motion alarm and mobile access. The user interface while not difficult to understand is not exactly intuitive either. The cameras are great. The resolution on these was why I bought the system.

Select Rating Cameras are excellent in day light and night are not very good. DVR records real nice. Simple to setup shame about the cameras could see nothing out side at night. I have a DVR system from Harbor Freight can see around 50 feet at night records real nice thought this would also needed a 8 camera for new house I am purchasing will keep looking.
