Multiple Recording Modes

Once the motion detection sensitivity meets alarm conditions, email will be sent immediately with the attachment of the caught snapshot. Once the FTP is set, FTP will upload the file after the alarm, and FTP server will receive the caught snapshot.

The motion detection option allows you record only when motion is detected so that you save hard drive space without missing important events. You can even ensure that false alarms are not triggered as the easy motion detection “mask” allows you to block out areas with constant movement.

Search by Date, Time or Event

perfect for your home security needs Review by jason
Select Rating I think this is very good for the price. The video is actually better then I thought it was going to be during the daylight hours, not as good for the night but if you add your own lighting via floodlights to enhance the area at night you have the camera monitoring then the picture is more then acceptable. I put one on the back of the house facing the garage and put a 150w par38 floodlight on the back of the house that faces the garage to illuminate the area and it works perfectly at night. I did the same for the front of the house and I am going to do the same for the side. We have had problems with stuff being stolen from around our garage so this should shed some light on who is doing it. We have also had some of our mail tampered with so the camera in front should shed some light on who is doing that. If the cameras are not up to your standards it can accept better ones at much higher costs which is another advantage to this system. You can buy it cheap to start with and upgrade it as you can afford to with better cameras that have better picture detail, pan & tilt, etc. So far I'm impressed with this system considering what I paid for it and would recommend it as a good starter system or even a permanent one. Pretty much Plug n play system.
Has a VGA outlet (hooked up directly to a old Lcd monitor I had)
Has a remote.
Not a bad picture quality for the price.
Overall good value for what u pay for this system.
Everything you need will come in the box.Did not have to buy one thing for basic usage including internal HD.
Cons:
complicated when trying to hook this system up with the net and to view on yr smart phone. Serves better as a basic system. (Posted on 7/26/12) -

Select Rating Installed this in a friend's new restaurant. Cameras were easy to install in the drop ceilings. Cables had a tendency to tangle, but if you stretched them out on the floor first, it took care of the problem. The DVR and all cameras worked right out of the box. The internet web server in the DVR worked well. I'd suggest the new installer do some google searches to find articles on Dynamic DNS service.. This is how an internet connection with dynamic IP addressing can be found from the outside world.

Select Rating Received this DVR and cameras yesterday. The DVR seems to be ok, but time will tell. Camera's are a little cheap but surprisingly give decent color after adjusting hue and saturation.
Connecting to my network was easy but I'm having problems with the web display. Internet explorer will not connect consistently, and the downloaded software will not connect at all.
I spent over an hour on chat with tech support. The guy was very patient and helpful.
If you are looking for great quality video, this is not the system for you.
Update - After playing with the video format in teh DVR software I was able to get the LIVE feed of the video working. I just keep getting more and more impressed with this product the more I play with it. (Posted on 7/25/12) -
